How should I arrive at my appointment?
- Please cleanse, condition and style your hair weekly, every 7 days, for at least 21-30 days (3-4 shampoo sessions) leading up to your appointment.
- Please do not do/follow the L.O.C (leave in, cream, oil)/L.C.O (leave in, cream, oil) method leading up to your appointment. It is a common misconception that these methods moisturize the hair. They do not. These products and methods prevent the hair from receiving water and have a huge impact on the outcome of your hair at our upcoming appointment.
- To style your hair, please use Uncle Funky’s Daughter Curly Magic for Wash+Go’s OR The Doux Mousse Def for puff/twist sets.
Do I have to pay a deposit? – Yes. For all new client services, there is a non-refundable $50 deposit. The deposit is credited towards your scheduled service cost.
Do you offer color services? – No, I do not.
Do you service children? – Yes, ages 9+ up.
Am I able to transfer my appointment to my sister/child/friend/cousin? No.
Will my service take the full time? – The length of your appointment depends on much education you need, the condition and makeup of your hair and both affect how long you sit under the dryer. I suggest allotting extra time for your appointment and not scheduling anything immediately after.
Rescheduling/ Cancellations/Late Arrivals/No Call, No Show
- The Cuse Curlfriend has a strict 48-hour cancellation policy. Appointments canceled less than 48 hours of the scheduled appointment will be charged a late cancellation fee of $50. Same-day cancellations are charged 50% of the service. as well. The best way to contact me regarding extenuating circumstances is to text/call.
- We offer a 10 minute grace period. If you arrive 15 or more after your scheduled appointment, you appointment will need to be rescheduled and you will be charged a late cancellation fee equal to 50% of the service price. Please reach out to via text message if you are running more than 10 minutes late.
- The Cuse Curlfriend has a strict “no-call no-show” policy. No-call, no shows will be charged 100% of the service booked.
