Before I become a stylist, let alone a parent, I never considered kid’s hair care and how challenging it can be for BOTH parent/guardian and child. Because of this, I offer virtual and in-person services to help you with your child’s hair care!
Partnering with me as your child’s hairstylist is a commitment on your part to their healthy hair journey. With the implementation of their personalized hair care routine, product recommendations, patience, and practice, their natural hair will thrive!

Shakera was an absolute delight! She was warm and welcoming when we first arrived and was well prepared to handle anything my preschooler could have thrown her way. But I like to think her warm and patient disposition was the main reason my daughter was so comfortable and gave no fuss the entire appointment time. I booked the Cuse Curlfriend Education for Parents service. Shakera was very informative. She answered all of my questions and allowed me to be hands-on as she did my daughter's hair. She also supplied resources that could help me on my journey to learning how to better care for my daughter's thick, 4c hair. To see my daughter smile at how pretty her curls came out made the drive from Watertown to Syracuse well worth it. We definitely will be returning clients. My son and I arrived at our appointment to a warm and friendly atmosphere. Ms. Kera quickly demonstrated expertise and and familiarity with my son’s hair texture. She asked a few questions about hair maintenance and product usage. She provided education at every step and engaged my son in the decision-making process. This was my son’s first wash and go, and he loves it. We have scheduled our next appointment in 8 weeks. I’m certain that his hair will be healthier, more hydrated and authentic with Ms. Kera’s touch and expertise.

Shakera is amazing! She did an incredible job on my goddaughter’s hair. It was so dry and frizzy and even matted. In no time at all, my goddaughter had an INCREDIBLE curly cut, with style and sass and health. And her Mom and I got so much education about how to take care of her curls in the future.
