My name is Shakera. I am a Syracuse-based licensed cosmetologist specializing in the care of naturally curly hair. I offer education-based experiences catered to teaching naturals about how to care for their hair in a simple, yet empowering way.
I just want you to know that I've been where you are. From 2014-2018, I was lost and often frustrated with my natural hair. I would spend hours on YouTube trying to find an influencer with the same curl type and would engage in all types of shenanigans. It wasn't until I discovered Black Girl Curls that I found my way in the natural hair streets. Once I listened to professional advice, taking care of my natural curls became a breeze! I had a newfound joy for my hair and it's the reason why I became a licensed cosmetologist and Curl Specialist.
I have helped naturals, both nationally and internationally, lead their curls to the land of health and hydration. I look forward to you being a part of the Cuse Curly family and helping you along your Kurl Luv journey.
